Born to Charlie and Renee Swan, she was not the only baby in the house, with her best friend and sister Katharine. She didn't spend much time with her father growing up, after her parents divorced they lived in Jacksonville for most of her life until the summer of 1987 when they went home to Forks Washington. Where she saw her father more, Katharine obsessed with Jacob so Bella spent more time with Dan and Seth.

After the birth, wedding and all the shingangs, Katharine, still going to school she meets Edward Cullen. Meeting his family, she quickly fell in love. katharine and her father and the reservation did not approve. She wondered about him and his family and did some research from the way he acted. She found out about vampires and told Katharine who was very skeptical, after confronting and confirming they suspicions she didn't care she loved him.
Going to a baseball game with the cullens a monster named James came after her, fleeing Forks for a short time then return, after sleeping with Edward he leaves saying she's better off alone, still living with Katharine all secrets coming to light, when Jacob tells them about him being a werewolf after he had left for some time. Learning that Bella was pregnant and an expecting Katharine, his children and Seth and Danny.

Shortly, Edward returns in a year and learned about his daughter, he proposes after saving his life from the Volturi, they get married, after some trouble with them Edward and Bella sort things out. Before they knew it more kids were on the way and they lived on another planet.
