Charlie was raised by two loving parents who worked hard. Growing up he was best friends with Billy Black and spent a lot of time on the reservation.

During his high school years, Billy and Charlie got to know Jacob Carter. Charlie soon started dating Renee, making friends with Clara setting up a beautiful group of friends.

Shortly after high school ended his parents both fell ill. His mother with Alzheimer's and his dad severe arthritis which caused his mobility to be limited. Deciding to skip college and join the police force to take care of his parents.

Soon after he married Renee, where they conceived their daughter Bella. Renee brought home another infant named Katharine. Jous with his two daughters, Renee was not, she left taking them with her. Breaking him in two.

After the death of his parents and the occasional visits of his daughters he was alone. Until he met and quickly married Tiffany. In the summer of 1988 his daughters returned to him, quickly taken by boyfriends and husbands. In the year of the flood his wife Tiffany passed away leaving him alone once more. When his kids decided to move he chose to come along learning the truth of all their secrets.
